My passion for nutrition and helping others starts with my own personal journey. After graduating high school and into my early 20’s, I slowly gained weight year to year. Each year as the new seasons came and I would pull my summer shorts or winter jeans back out from the back of my closet, I found that I was having to buy bigger sizes. I was SO uncomfortable in my body which lead me down the path to trying multiple diets thats co workers or friends would share with me.

I tried Weight Watchers. Since they work on a points system, I found myself gravitating towards 100 calorie snack packs and low fat/carb items to get the most out of the points I was given.

I tried meal replacement plans. This made me completely dependent on the products being sold and I often wondered how I would live the rest of my life this way if eating these meals was what gave me results. If I stopped them, my weight would creep back on.

I also tried calorie counting but the calories I was aiming for was way too low…leaving me hungry and creating a cycle of extreme restriction followed by extreme binging.

As I entered my mid 20’s..I started Crossfit. I fell in love with the community and the challenge to push through tough workouts. During this time, Paleo and Whole30 were big in the crossfit world. If you’re not familiar with them, it’s a diet that cuts out grains, refined sugar, dairy, beans and legumes. I followed this style of eating for a long time but missed having the flexibility to enjoy some of the foods I had to give up and when I did eat them, I felt like I was failing.

Through all of these diets, I felt like my body composition didn’t reflect the work I was putting in. I was tired, weak, moody and worst of all, always hungry. Sound familiar? I know how you feel.

I started to hear more about tracking macronutrients and was curious. Could I really eat carbs, have meals out at restaurants, enjoy foods I loved and get the results I had been longing for? I’m so glad I dove in head first and gave it a shot because it was life changing for me and it can be for you too.

About Me

I started FlexFuel in 2015 after years of testing this method myself. I saw the results it gave me and the people I helped in my gym and decided I wanted to help as many others as I could. Over the years I’ve traveled to multiple nutrition conferences, completed many nutrition certifications and have done hours of research to make sure I can be the best coach to my clients as possible. Above all of that, I have almost 10 years of experience working with individuals and their specific needs.

Our Mission

To simplify nutrition in a world that over complicates it. Every single person’s needs are different depending on several things: age, weight, the current state of your metabolism, your diet history, and your goals.

My goal is to help you find consistency in your nutrition that helps you feel and look your best.

Through working with me, I’ll teach you practical application so you never have to start a “new” diet again.

Our Method

Flex Fuel uses science based nutrition principles to teach you how to fuel your body properly while achieving your health & physique goals. My 1:1 approach with clients uses macronutrient tracking customized for you.

Weekly checkins with me allows me to track your progress and your biofeedback but more importantly, it provides accountability. Checkins allow us to talk about any struggles you had, how you’re feeling, and anything coming up in the next week that you need help planning for.

You don’t have to do this alone and working side by side with a coach can help you learn the skills needed to be successful for the rest of your life.
