Weighing & measuring is a huge educational tool. It allows us to see what 4oz of chicken truly looks like, or what a serving of rice actually is. Then, when life happens, we eat out, travel, etc. we have it engrained in us what proper balance & portions within our foods is & can feel confident in handling those scenarios!

The scale will always reign supreme when weighing a measuring, but if you’re just starting out or in a pinch without a scale these other methods can work better than just forgetting it all together!
