About a year and a half ago, I began exercising again pretty regularly and eventually joined Crossfit. I thought that would help with the weight. I felt that I was eating pretty healthy and working out consistently. Instead, my weight increased and so did my inches. It was time for a change, my body was no longer responding to things the way it did when I was in my 20’s. I had heard about Flex Fuel and started looking into the program. In has been great. I have learned so much about how to balance the food that I need to fuel my body. Since then, I have lost over 20 pounds and tons of inches. I am much stronger, especially my core and back. I know at this point in time, I am stronger and can run faster and longer than I have ever been able to. It is so refreshing to go back and look at my workout logs to see how much strength I have built. More importantly, I love being able to chase my 7 and 4 year old around and not feel exhausted. I can pick them up and carry them without worrying about hurting my back! This is what it is all about, being able to do what I have been called to do. Flex fuel has been a part of helping me do that.

�Flexible eating works well for me because I am constantly on the go, whether it is related to work, family, or church. We have a tradition of being able to go out weekly to meet extended family at restaurants and I can do that. I love not feeling guilty about enjoying treats. I will admit that I was incredibly nervous about losing out on my treats……dark chocolate is my all time favorite! However, I have found that some of my protein smoothies, while not totally replacing the dark chocolate do curb the cravings. I can still enjoy some, as long as it fits into my macros for the day. Mallory has been incredible with helping support upcoming challenges I might be facing. She has a sixth sense at recognizing even the tiniest accomplishments. Those tiny accomplishments quickly add up to big accomplishments!”
